The Little Way offers a unique methodology that helps students K-5th learn to live virtue. We focus on Christian virtues following the example of the saints.
The Little Way focuses on one Catholic virtue a month that is reinforced by a scripture passage. The students will have 20 activities in the month focused on that virtue.
SAINT OF THE MONTH
The Little Way has a special saint each month and pet whose story inspires the students to live virtue. The saints all have their own special pets, as a way for the students to relate and remember facts about the saints’ lives.
DAILY VIRTUE ACTIVITIES
The program is made up of twenty short 10 minute daily activities about the virtue of the month. Since the activities are short and sweet, the teacher can easily incorporate them into the classroom.
DIFFERENT TEACHING DYNAMICS
The virtue activities every day have a different dynamics to get the message and lessons across to the students. Activities include games, coloring, crafts, group discussions, individual activities and role playing.
THE STUDENT AND LEADER GUIDE
The Program provides a Little Way Leader Guide for the Catholic educator, with twenty activities of daily curriculum for each of the nine months, totaling over 180 activities. An important component to the program is the Little Way Student Guide workbook for the children, which has the games and content for each activity.
